OMGG!! While we looked puppy faced at the NYX matte lip creams and cursed their unavailability in India, Our very own Colorbar launched a similar version of lip creams called Colorbar Deep Matte Lip Creams recently and here i have the swatches of 8 shades for you guys out of the 10 i checked at the store. The other 2 testers were very dry.
In first impressions, the texture of the shades feels similar to NYX matte lip creams. They are a mixed version of lip glosses and lipsticks. The pigmentation is great as one single swipe delivers perfect opaque colour to the lips. I definitely think they can be our version of the cult famous NYX lip creams. They come in a regular tube packaging with a doe foot applicator.
Shades:
1) Deep Red: A very very stunning red! Ultimate pigmentation and perfect for Indian skin tones. Neither too warm nor too cool toned.
2) Deep Lily : My favorite shade from this range. A very beautiful fuchsia and this will be the best lip color ever for fairer skin tones!
3) Deep Rose : A perfect everyday pink.
4) Deep Earth: As the name suggests, an earthy brick shade. Perfect Nude for every skin tone.
5) Deep Coco: A very dark brown shade. When sheered out it becomes a little brown nude on my skin tone.
6) Deep Rust: Earthy orange-brown shade.
7) Deep Pink: A lighter version of deep rose. Perfect for office wear.
8) Deep Blush: A coral shade that kind of borders on neon-ish for Indian skin tones. It will only look great on super fair skin tones.
