Everyday makeup essentials for Indian skin
When i get dressed every morning for work, i kind of look forward to the 5 minutes for my Makeup that i can spare. It is the only me time i get in the whole day so it is special. I usually use just around 3-4 products for my makeup like Concealer, CC cream or foundation mixed with moisturizer, kohl and Blush. You will ask why do i skip lipstick and the answer for that is that the lipstick anyways wears off till i reach office. I haven’t reviewed any of these products on the blog so i thought i will do a mini review here.
The products i am loving these days for light neutral work appropriate makeup are from our beloved Maybelline. It makes such quality products at prices that we can afford.
My everyday makeup essentials for Indian skin:
Concealer- This i got from Athens when we went for our Honeymoon. You can read about the entire trip here and here. Maybelline hasn’t launched this Maybelline Cover Stick Concealer in India but trust me, whenever you see it anywhere, just buy 2 backups. I didn’t and i am regretting it to this day! It is just so easy to use and blends flawlessly.
Foundation: I use this and the new Lakme CC cream alternatively. I mix a drop of foundation with my moisturizer and get a dewy look perfect for the drier weather we are experiencing these days. This foundation is affordable yet so good! It creates a matte look without making the skin feel really dry. Perfect for day to day wear.
Blush: Maybelline Cheeky Glow blush is the favorite blush of so many girls and i now know why. This shade is absolutely gorgeous and perfect for that flushed look but it is not a “in your face” kinda blush so that is why great for everyday makeup.
Kohl: Maybelline Colossal Kajal is my go to Kohl these days and to add a pop of colour to my otherwise neutral makeup, i use Jewelled jade shade which is a gorgeous jade kohl. It looks really pretty on the eyes and stays for long. You can read the review here.
You can buy all these products from here.
So these are my everyday makeup essentials for Indian skin. Which are your favorites?
