Lip balms are a staple in my handbags since I have very dry lips which need constant hydration. This is the reason why I prefer balmy lipsticks over matte lipsticks.I have used quite a few lip balms but not many have impressed me. I do love the Maybelline baby lips and the oldie but goodie Nivea lip balm but the one lip balm which made me a convert is the Burt’s Bees Vanilla & Peppermint lip balm. Burt’s Bees is a well-known skincare company but the products are not easily available in India. I had heard a lot about this lip balm so I picked it up from Sephora. Here is the Burt’s Bees Lip Balm review:
Burt’s Bees Lip Balm Review:
The lip balm comes in a very simple but effective packaging. The yellow tube comes with a small cap of the same color. The bright color makes it easy to identify the lip balm in my bag. The net weight of the lip balm is 4.25 grams and the quantity is perfect as compared to the price.
The Burt’s Bees Vanilla & Peppermint lip balm is 100% natural. The main ingredients of the lip balm include beeswax, coconut oil, sunflower seed oil, peppermint oil, rosemary leaf extract, soybean oil, and canola oil. The lip balm is white in color and does not add any color to the lips. It is great to wear under lipsticks also. The consistency of the balm is slightly thicker than other lip balms i have tried. It feels slightly heavy on the lips but also provides great results when it comes to repairing chapped lips.
The Burt’s Bees lip balm has a very refreshing peppermint fragrance which leaves a tingling sensation on the lips. My lips feel cool and fresh after using the lip balm.
The balm is very handy and lightweight. I use it at night to nourish my lips and also in winters when the lips need an extra boost of hydration. it not only nourishes my lips but also makes them look plump and healthy. The quantity is good and the lip balm will last for at least 6-7 months if used regularly.
The price of the lip balm is a bit expensive as compared to other lip balms available in India. It is also not available easily in India.

- The lip balm nourishes the lips and makes them look plump.

Cons of Burt’s Bees lip balm:
- The price of the lip balm is a bit high.
- It is not easily available in India except on Sephora and some other websites.
So this was the Burt’s Bees lip balm review. It is one of the best lip balms i have tried and it great for healing chapped lips. The cool peppermint fragrance refreshes the lips.
Have you tried this lip balm? How was your experience?
Looks very nourishing and perfect for dry lips. And if it is going to last for 6-7 months, it is definitely worth the price…
