Today I am going to share my most favourite face pack which has been a part of my skincare routine for almost 7 years. That’s the reason perhaps behind my skin behaving very well in my teens and way beyond teens. It is the Himalaya Herbals Purifying Neem Pack. My skin type is combination type with dry cheeks and oily T-zone. I have had a very clear skin all through my teens with one or two hormonal zits.
I have been using this face pack for the last 6-7 years twice a month or so and the fact that is so “in-your-face” available and dirt-cheap only helps. It comes in a white and green packaging. The mask is green in colour. The main ingredient is Neem which helps in keeping pimples at Bay. Whenever I see even a shadow of pimple peeking through my skin, the first thing I do is slap on this mask. It just calms down the inflammation and eliminates any redness. It also prevents the pimple from leaving any marks or spots. The fuller’s earth in this mask calms the skin down and treats the blemishes to an extent. While this mask doesn’t target any specific skin problem other than treating pimples, it helps to clear the skin and calm any inflammations. The only thing i feel is that it dries out the skin a little bit, but nothing that a moisturiser cant fix! It also causes a tingling sensation when it applied, but that is just the neem working on the subcutaneous zits! Also, the mask is a bit difficult to wash off and can be a bit harsh to clean because of the granules in it, so wash it with water gently and it will come off easily.

Have u tried Iba halal products, these are newly launched and they have two outlets in Ahmedabad. Juhapura and Mithakali. Had been to the juhapura store and was amazed at the products. Completely organic and super affordable. Bought a aloe vera face mist and aloe vera hand soap. So far i am happy as the face mist hydrates instantly but humid heat here these days makes me feel sticky after i apply this mist! Do try their range.
