MAC Rebel reminds me of a colour which is forbidden to wear. Like normally when everybody is wearing neutrals and you be a rebel and wear this super plum shade in all its glory!
MAC Rebel is described as a Midtonal Cream Plum. It is from the satin range of MAC lipsticks. I bought this lipstick because of the gorgeous plum colour which looks great on fair skins. The colour looks really dark purple in the tube but transforms into a beautiful pink plum on the lips. The lipstick comes in a regular MAC packaging. The fragrance is as always the MAC vanilla. The texture is really smooth with absolutely no dryness. The lipstick does not tug or pull at the lips. Pigmentation is one swipe does it all. Opaque colour in one swipe however you can build up the colour. The staying power is good with 5-6 hours of wear with little fading. I use it with a lip liner and i reapply two three times after pressing it with a tissue so it lasts longer. The creamy texture makes feathering an issue but the lip liner solves it. it leaves a pretty stain.
MAC Rebel is a very wintery plum shade. It looks great at night when you are feeling a bit dressy. It is a dramatic colour which will pull your whole look together. I look forward to using this a lot more in winters. Best summer lipstick in my stash is Limecrime Velvetine Pink Velvet.
